Chinese Takeaway Style Noodles (Plain)

  1. Bring a saucepan of water to a boil.
  2. Add your Dried Egg Noodles. Wait until the water starts to boil again and wait 3-4 mins.
  3. Drain your noodles in a sieve/colander. Leave them to dry for a minimum of 10 mins.
  4. Heat a wok (or frying pan) over a stove. Add your oil of choice, and heat it until very hot and almost smoking.
  5. Add your noodles to the wok (or frying pan) and leave them for 30 seconds. Add Dark Soy Sauce, Light Soy Sauce and Chinese Takeaway Seasoning to taste. Mix for 5 seconds.
  6. After mixing, leave the noodles for 30 seconds once again. Then mix for 5 seconds. Repeat this process for 3-4 minutes or until your noodles are cooked.
  7. Finish with sesame oil as you turn the stove off. Mix well.
